In June 2012, at the end of the Danish EU presidency, Toftegaards Square became a temporary Labyrinth of 1000 square meters. Designed by Simon Hjermind Jensen from the firm SHJWORKS, the giant installation consisted of seven wooden towers, covered in scaffolding fabric, and a maze made of existing fences. Various artists decorated the interior of all the towers, which were physical turning points of the game, hiding questions about European issues: a right answer led the visitor to the next tower, and a wrong one led to a dead end.

How much I would have loved a new sofa… to put it in my living room and sit comfortably on my new… cactus!? Is it itching?… one might wonder. How much I would loved my new couch… to sit in peace and quiet and empty my head on… a cow sofa!? Does it moooo? Who knows!? How much I crave to lie down on a brand new sofa… I would even jump on it but… will the eggs break!? Probably yes. I’m on a hurry to buy my new sofa actually… I’ll put a couple of pillows and a small blanket to keep me warm on my new… Himalayas sofa! BRRR!!! It feels cold already… who knows how many blankets I might need! I should better check for online sofas by CSL I guess… in that way, they won’t be any weird surprises for me!
